Ordering - Backorders - Sales Tax

• 5 Ways to Order

Please note we require a minimum merchanise order of $10.00

1. Order online:  Our online store www.ncbasketworks.com  is always open. This is the fastest way to shop. Browse our vast selection of products and make purchases from  your computer. Your transactions are secure as our site utilizes industry standard security measures including SSL ( Secure Sockets Layer ) encryption technology.

To find items...... Browse the categories in the left navigation bar found on each page. Clicking on a category name will take you to a page that shows products within that category. You can order from this page or click on the product name or image to see more information or a larger image of the product. Some categories have sub-categories. Clicking on a sub-category will take you to a page that shows products within that sub-category

Or, use the Search feature located at the top right of on each page. To find a product, enter the word or words that describe the product and click the GO button. Matching products will be displayed. Click on the product name or image to see more information and a larger image of the product.

To order items...... Once you find the product you want to order, enter the quantity desired in the quantity box and click on Add To Basket. The product and quantity ordered will be added to your Shopping Basket. There is a Mini Shopping Basket in the right column on each page which shows what you have ordered, along with quantity and total cost. Continue to shop for additional products adding to your shopping basket. Once you have finished shopping click on View Shopping Basket to see the contents of your Shopping Basket. In the Shopping Basket Contents screen you can review products ordered, delete a product, or change the quantity. You must enter your Zip/Postal Code to calculate Estimated Shipping and ( if applicable ) Estimated Taxes.

To place your order...... Select your preferred method of payment and click Begin Secure Checkout to start you through checkout. 

Once on the Checkout Page you will have the opportunity to review your order and make any changes. Next place any comments, notes, or special instructions you may have regarding your order. Then complete your billing and shipping information, and any additional payment information.  If everything is correct, and you are ready to submit your order, click on Submit This Order. Once your order is submitted you will see a receipt of your order for you to print for your records. A 'Thank You' email acknowledging that we received your order will be sent to you.  

2. Call us toll free: 800-338-4972. Have questions? Need help with your order? Want to discuss your project? Or, just prefer placing your order over the telephone. No problem, just give us a call. We are always eager to talk with you. Our lines are open 24/7. However, if you call after normal working hours you will receive our voicemail where you can leave your order or request a call back. 

3. Mail your order to: North Carolina Basket Works, PO Box 744, Vass, NC 28394. If you prefer to mail your order there is no need to fill out a separate form. Simply follow the steps outlined in #3 above 'Fax your order'. Then mail your order to us.  

4. Order in person: One of the best ways to order is to visit our warehouse, shop our vast selection of supplies, and personally select your order. You will  receive a warm welcome, and personal assistance will be available.

Warehouse hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (eastern time). We are normally open one Saturday a month. To see our scheduled Saturday opening, click on the Monthly Sale Saturday hours are 8:00am - Noon (eastern time). We are closed Sundays and major holidays. When coming to the warehouse it is best to telephone ahead to verify our hours.
 

• Backorders  

We try our best to carry a full inventory for every product we sell on our website. However, sometimes items may be out of stock. Items not in stock will be backordered, unless you advise us otherwise. Customers will not be charged for backordered items until they are shipped.

When backordered items are back in stock, we will notify you prior to shipping. Customers will be responsible for shipping charges on backorders.

If you do not want items backordered, please include a note about this in the Comments / More Information / Special Instructions box located on the "Billing Information" page of the checkout.

• Sales Tax  

Sales Tax will apply to all shipments delivered to North Carolina addresses. Sales Tax is calculated on both product and shipping costs. 

North Carolina sales tax exempt customers must provide us with a Certificate of Exemption - Form E-595E.

Shipments outside North Carolina will not be charged sales tax.
