Two sizes are offered - one for Mom, and a smaller version for your little one so they can "help" with berry picking.

Materials - Mom's
6" handle/base package (screws, nets, and washers included) 11/64" FO - weavers and lashing 11/64" FO - dyed for weavers 3/8" FF - spokes and rim row	1/2" FO - rims Seagrass - rim filler #2R - twining 3 Blueberry tie-on (optional)

Cut 20 spokes from 3/8" FF each 9 1/2" long. Soak briefly. Insert the spokes evenly around the base. Twine (or chase weave) with #2R twice around the base keeping the spokes flat. Gently upset the spokes and continue to twine for a total of 1".

Now switch to 11/64" FO and weave 28 rows or start and stop. As you weave, let the spokes flare out for several rows, and then gently push them back in so that the top measures 6".

After the 28 rows, weave 3 rows 11/64" FO DYED, and end with a row of 3/8" FF (rim row). Pack well. Cut and tuck in the usual manner. Rim with 1/2" FO, seagrass between rims, and lash with 11/64" FO.

Locate opposite spokes and drill a hole through the 1/2" FO rim to attach the handle with a #4 screw, nut, and washers (if the lasher is in the way, just move it to one side slightly.) The profile of handle attachment (from outside to inside the basket) is: screw, washer, handle, washer, rim, and nut. Cut off screw if it is too long and pin over. Use your favorite weaver's stain. Attach the 3-berry tie on with raffia.

Materials - Little One
4" handle/base package (screws, nets, and washers included) 11/64" FO - weavers and lashing 11/64" FO - dyed for 1 row weaving 7mm FF - spokes and rim row	3/8" FO - rims Seagrass - rim filler #1R - twining

Cut 20 spokes from 7mm FF each 8" long. Follow the directions for Mom's, but weave 24 rows of start and stop and 1 row 11/64" FO dyed. Finish in the same manner as Mom's.
